The children’s centre is open all year except for bank holidays, training days and a 2-week summer closure.
The children’s centre staff are available during the following times when the centre is open to the community.

- Saturday from 10.00 am to 12.00 am.

What does the children’s centre team do?
If you would like to call for a confidential chat or support please call on 0207 473 2761 during opening hours.
We have 4 meeting rooms of various sizes. One is usually used for parent training and another is used to provide the crèche. The parent training and crèche must be booked. Occasionally there is a waiting list for training particularly sewing and ESOL. Other rooms can be booked in advance for community services please contact the children’s centre co-ordinator on the above number or email.
Some sessions take place in the community for example in the local swimming baths, the library, primary schools
or park. Please look at the programme for details.
You can use any children’s centre in Newham with your ChildView card
- The children’s centre has a dedicated team to support families in the local community.
- When you come along to a session you will meet either the family support worker or outreach workers.
- At these sessions there are informal opportunities to talk about pregnancy, babies, children and family life.
