Our Childminder Network consists of professional childminders who are highly skilled childcare providers and work within their own home.
Childminders can only join our network if they are registered with Ofsted, are awaiting registration after applying to Ofsted, or have attended the Local Authority registration course and are situated within our reach area. Joining Custom House and Canning Town Childminder Network offers many benefits to everyone involved, including the children, parents and childminders.
We currently have 13 childminders within our network who are registered to provide funded places for children and families eligible for the 15 and 30 hours free childcare (please enquire for list).
To improve the offer of flexibility to parents we are working together with Edith Kerrison and Keir Hardie Nursery Schools to provide a ‘walking partnership’ where parents are offered 15 hours at the nursery and 15 hours with a network childminder in order to provide the 30 hours free childcare.
