We believe that every child in our community should feel welcomed and their individual needs should be met and we follow the inclusive policy of all Newham schools. This means all our staff work with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. It's everyone's job to support every child so that they progress educationally, emotionally and physically. Edith Kerrison has high ambitions for all our children. The school special educational needs coordinator (SENDCO) talks with families, key people and appropriate outside specialists such as speech and language therapists and physiotherapists so that everybody can share their knowledge and expertise in relation to the child. If staff have any concerns about your child’s development they will speak to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to discuss them with your child’s key person or the SENDCO. We are an IQM (Inclusion Quality Mark) Flagship school and we welcome robust annual reviews of our provision across our Nursery. Please see our report below. We are very proud of it. Our SENDCO is Balazs Vida. You can contact him by telephone 020 4731735 or by email [email protected]
